Let’s set something straight. This is not another aimless diet and exercise plan or misleading quick fix. Instead we are going to embark on a journey that will inspire a long term lifestyle change.
We will begin by simplifying things by showing you what matters, in the appropriate order and what does not.
We focus on the tasks that offer the biggest bang for your buck. By doing so we will make results easier, by ensuring consistency and stopping the dreaded yoyo.
Just like a game this works by completing levels. With each new level you will be tasked with new things to focus on.
However, you must still keep the previous tasks at least 70% consistent or you risk regressing and losing your incentives.
As you advance through the levels you will gradually modify your diet and lifestyle using visual and mindfulness techniques. The process is carefully designed to help you adopt these new skills as habits.
So we will strip things right back, in order to lay solid foundations and build you up to the best version of yourself.
I need you to trust me! This programme is very different from the status quo, and often what people think they need, is different to what you actually need.
Remember the old saying less is more? Well it doesn't mean it gives you less of a result. So I need you to focus only on the tasks at hand, no matter how simple you feel that may be.
Your first task is “self monitoring”
This is how we begin to manage our food and we do this by taking pictures of it. It doesn't matter if you feel you've had a great day or a bad one, the most important thing is to always record it.
Self monitoring does magical things, by making you more aware it automatically inspires new behaviours and helps you find control. But most importantly it will get rid of all that lost food (snacking) and give us a solid foundation to work from.
