Interior designer/ FF&E assistant required to work on commercial and residential projects in and around London.
This is a remote position for a new, growing company. You will be required to attend meetings in and close to London occasionally with the team and clients.
The company supplies interior design services and well as selling furniture and lighting packages. This is a diverse role for an interior designer with good FF&E knowledge. You will be working on interior design projects as well as placing orders for FF&E.
The ideal candidate can work quickly to tight deadlines, when necessary. They should also be flexible to accommodate the change of workload but will mostly be working part time.
Role & Responsibilities • To produce technical drawings, plans, elevations and project deliverables • Present interior design proposals to clients and team members • Oversee the technical aspects of the residential projects • On-site visits and inspections • Liaising with clients, contractors and third parties. • Create FF&E specification list • Create Purchase orders and follow orders.
Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience working on high-end residential projects (ideally 3 years+) • Proficient user of AutoCAD • Experienced at supplier and client liaison, able to confidentially present concepts/plans to clients •Strong FF&E brand knowledge
