Looking for someone proficient in HTML5 to edit (or recreate if easier) an existing file. The goal is to have a set of 4 fully self-contained files (i.e. can be opened by any browser without needing support files/folders). The files are meant to display current information on a TV screen that is connected to an Android set top box.
The 4 files will consist of: Weather Forecast, Current Events, Local/National News, and Horoscopes, all sourced through different RSS feeds. Each file will also display company logo, current date/time, and current weather.
Program a "screensaver" of some sort for if internet connectivity is lost. For example, currently if the internet is disconnected, the display is mostly blank, and shows incorrect time/date. I would want to have an image with a customizable message displayed until connectivity is returned.
Modify or recreate the current file so they all (4 files) display the info as expected.
Date/time should be automatically populated according to location, accounting for daylight savings.
The file is meant to be played on TV screens with different aspect ratios and pixels (i.e. 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, 1366 x 768, 1024 x 768), so the file/content should scale automatically.
A basic demonstration of how to navigate the files will also be needed. For example, ability to change source of RSS feeds, and other basic changes.
Budget: $250
