The voluntary initiative, Your Future, Your Ambition (YFYA), was founded in 2012 to educate, inspire and encourage young people aged 7 to 21 years to pursue studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
To help us grow our audience and maintain interest and enthusiasm amongst our stakeholders, parents, older students (17yrs +) and teachers we are seeking to engage with an experienced social media professional, preferably with STEM experience, to:
• Design and create YFYA and STEAM specific visual and written social media content
• Deliver and schedule the calendar of social content across our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts in alignment with the YFYA content strategy using Hootsuite.
• Support us in managing day-to-day maintenance (responding to general queries, removing spam messages etc) of our core social channels for the duration of our agreement
• Being present at and uploading real-time content on our accounts on the day of the YFYA 2020 event in London set to take place on the 12th November.
• Establish clear reporting on all content and levels of audience engagement to the Core YFYA Team and our stakeholders using channel tools and analytics.
We required social media content to be posted roughly three times a day between 15th June 2020 and 31st March 2021 inclusive, a total of 870 posts over 290 days. Our budget for this project must not exceed £2,000.
